House Made Almond Granola

Lazy Saturday morning granola! This crunchy granola is one of my favorite breakfasts, really because it’s super easy! My favorite way to eat this cereal is with plain greek yogurt, peanut butter, and frozen berries. 

House Made Almond Granola - Nutrition Thyme RD

Servings 6

Ingredients:

2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup almonds (whole, sliced, or slivered)
1/2 cup coconut flakes

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. In a bowl, mix the oats, honey, oil, and salt
  3. Spray a regular sheet tray and spread out the oat mixture
  4. Bake 10 minutes, then stir around
  5. Add the cranberries, almonds, and coconut
  6. Bake for another 10 minutes,
  7. Take them out of the oven and stir around again on the sheet
  8. Let them sit and dry until cool

*The amount of honey will depend on how sweet you want the granola and if everything is holding together

Nutrition per Serving (1/2 cup portion): 321 calories, 3g protein, 37g carbs, 4g fiber, 18g fat, 3g sat fat, 128mg sodium
